حصل الدكتور طارق على درجة الماجستير في الطب الباطني من جامعة عين شمس المصرية.

 وقد عمل لأكثر من 6 أعوام بقطاع الرعاية الصحية بالإمارات، واكتسب خلالها خبرة واسعة في مجال الطوارئ والطب الباطني. وبالإضافة لهذه التخصصات، يتمتع الدكتور طارق أيضًا بخبرة واسعة في مجالات طب الأسرة، والإدارة، والأبحاث السريرية، والتعليم الطبي، والمستشفيات.
