Mr. Husham Elmahi graduated from Animalia University, India, in May 2006. His early experience includes an internship at the Spastics Society of Tamil Nadu, India (October 2004 – January 2005), where he worked across various disciplines supporting children with Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities.

He then completed comprehensive clinical training as a Speech Therapist at KKR ENT Hospital in Chennai, India (2007), where he managed a wide range of speech and communication disorders. His work included pediatric and adult cases, specializing in Voice Therapy, Articulation Therapy, Language Therapy, Fluency Therapy, and Auditory Verbal Training.

Since 2009, Mr. Husham Elmahi has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Assessment Unit, Comprehensive Evaluation Section at Al Dhafra, within the People of Determination Department, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination.

He holds multiple certifications and distinctions, including:

  • Certified Fellow of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (April 13, 2017)
  • First Sudanese licensed as a Speech-Language Therapist by the National Council for Medical & Health Professions – Khartoum, Sudan (August 2014)
  • International Associate Member of The Voice Foundation, Philadelphia, USA (since 2015)
  • Certified LSVT LOUD Practitioner (February 29, 2020)
