Dr. Kashif completed his Bachelor’s in Medical Education from Dow Medical College in 1993 and Master’s from Institute of Environmental Studies, Karachi, Pakistan. He has specialized in Occupational Medicine as a Member Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physician of Ireland in 2010 and became the Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in 2016, post which he became the Fellow of Royal College of Physician of Ireland in 2020.
Dr. Afzal has extensive experience working in Oil & Gas Industry in South Asia, Middle East and Central Asia and has held various clinical, administrative and executive leadership roles. His areas of interest include occupational health program design and implementation for medium and large companies, improving workplace productivity through wellness and prevention program, fitness to work and return to work health assessment, Ergonomics and Health Surveillance.
Dr. Afzal is an examiner of Occupational Medicine (MFOM &LFOM) conducted by Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and has developed and organized various courses on Occupational medicine and has also presented in various conferences and scientific meetings.
